"Okay, I love my bbq as much as the next gal, but what really sends me to "hog heaven" is when there is a deliciously seasoned vinegar sauce on the side. Angel's is definitely a hidden gem…I liked the pulled pork plate with macoroni and cheese and fries, which by the way, are some of my favorite fries to date. If your visiting Savannah and love bbq I definitely recommend this place."

House Sauce

Georgia-Carolina hybrid, tomato and vinegar based

 

Memphis Sweet

Memphis-style sauce sweetened with molasses. Oh, and love.

 

Golden Idol

South Carolina mustard-based sauce

 

Angel Drops

North Carolina vinegar-based sauce, made with Savannah Bee Company honey – sweet and tangy

 

Dead Chef's Sauce

More traditional North Carolina sauce, vinegar based with some heat

 

Voo Doo Juice

Available upon request for additional cost – very spicy sauce made with ghost and chilpepin chilis
